Oakland Magazine's 'BEST OF 2008' voted Delta Wires as Best Band/Musical Act and the National Blues Foundation's Memphis International Blues Challenge put Delta Wires as a top ten finalist out of 100 bands! The Delta Wires is a big, high-energy harmonica and horns blues band from the Oakland/San Francisco Bay Area. They have toured or played with many noted artists including Van Morrison, John Lee Hooker, Freddie King, The Doobie Brothers, Boz Scaggs, Bad Company, and numerous others.
