| Truckee Renaissance Faire - The 2008 Truckee Renaissance Faire has been cancelled, but plans for 2009 are already underway. Scheduled for September 19 and 20, 2009, the 2009 Truckee Renaissance Faire seeks volunteers. sponsors, vendors and entertainment. Saturday 10:00am-6:00pm. Sunday 10:00am-5:00pm. Tickets: Adults $10. Seniors (65 & over) and Children (12 & under) $5. Truckee Renaissance Faire does not allow pets of any kind on the fairgrounds. This is a non-smoking event. Come play the Privateers' Scavenger Hunt, a free game with wonderous prizes donated by the village merchants, to be held at 12:30 (for all ages) and 3:00 (ADULTS only) in the Privateers' encampment. The faire is at the Truckee Regional Park. Event parking $5. Proceeds to to a Truckee High School sports team.
