National Collector Car Day ~ 7-9-2010 National Collector Car Day ~ National Collector Car Day<br /><br />It’s official: the U.S. Senate has okayed National Collector Car Appreciation Day!<br />The National Automobile Museum, The Harrah Collection, in downtown Reno is joining other car enthusiasts for the first 9th of July celebration of National Collector Car Day with two-for-one admission, a car club “show and shine,” costumed characters, special presentations and more.<br />See the acclaimed film “Paving The Way: The National Park-to-Park Highway” at 1 p.m.<br />It’s a fascinating glimpse into the formative years of the National Park Service. The documentary is about the first road trip to all 12 of the national parks in the west in 1920. <br />See all the museum cars including special exhibits.
