This event provides an opportunity to learn everything you want to know about cheetahs: those residing at the Ark and cheetahs in their home countries in Africa. Discover what conservation activities are underway to preserve the species. Of course, the highlight of the evening will be watching the awesome speed and graceful power of the Ark's three cheetahs, who will be racing by at speeds of 60-70 miles per hour. Thrill to the sound of their thundering paws, accompanied by their loud purrs as they pursue the lure around and about the big open field behind their enclosure. Guests will also enjoy visiting the Ark's other wild residents. Reservations required. $40 adults, $25 children 10-15yrs. Must be 10 yrs or more to participate.
