National Coin Week ~ 4-23-2010 National Coin Week ~ Reno Coin Club<br /> presents <br />Beautiful Places: Landmarks and Mintmarks<br />ANA National Coin Week April 18-24<br /> <br /> The Reno Coin Club is proud to be a local sponsor of American Numismatic Association’s 87th Annual National Coin Week, April 18-24. We will have special exhibits at Nevada State Museum Friday April 23 and Saturday April 24.<br /> This year we are celebrating the historic and scenic places that have inspired coin designs and paper money throughout the world. The National Park series of quarters will be starting this year, and the ANA is sponsoring a Road Trip Treasure Hunt at ANA’s website, www.money.org with wonderful numismatic prizes. <br /> The Reno Coin club will have the 2010 Sacagawea and President Millard Fillmore dollar coin, and a limited number of the 2010 shield pennies and 2009 Lincoln pennies. Ancient, obsolete US, and animals coins as well as paper money will be on display. The coin press will be minting. Free foreign coins for children or children at heart. Come joins us at the museum on 600 North Carson St.<br /> Reno Coin Club is a non-profit organization and meets the first Tuesday of every month at 7:30PM, Carrow’s, 6th and Wells, Reno.
