San Diego Events 2010 NACE Table Top Decor Competition ~ 3-30-2010 2010 NACE Table Top Decor Competition ~ Local event designers and pastry chefs will compete in a table top design and cake competition with themes inspired by Day and Night. Designers will compete for Best of Class and People’s Choice awards for element interpretation. Many of the area’s top designers will be showcasing their talents and cake artists will offer samplings of their creations. The event will offer the general public an opportunity to view the designs and vote for their favorites for a $10 entrance fee. For those that would like to attend the dinner and awards presentation, the tickets are $50 per person for NACE members and $70 for non-members. A portion of the proceeds for the evening will benefit The Food Bank of Northern Nevada. The event is presented by the Reno-Tahoe Chapter of the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE). <br /><br />The competition will be on Tuesday, March 30th.
