Haunted Vegas Tour ~ 10-1-2010 Haunted Vegas Tour ~ Las Vegas is known for its lively nightlife, but there is one tour devoted to showing people the exact opposite. The Haunted Vegas Tour and Séance explores the mysterious side of Sin City by visiting different sites where there have been recurring ghost sightings. Don’t worry if you are a skeptic, this tour is anything but cheesy.<br /><br />“Good evening, you’ve had your last chance to run,” says Jac, the guide on the night the tour was attended. Reno Film Festival presents the Manhattan Shorts ~ 10-1-2010 Reno Film Festival presents the Manhattan Shorts ~ The Reno Film Festival will again host the only Nevada screenings of this year’s Manhattan Short Film Competition. Two screenings are planned on Friday and Saturday, October 1 & 2, both at 7:30 pm in the theater of the Joe Crowley Student Union at UNR. <br /><br />Reno is one of more than 200 screenings to held across Asia, Australia, Europe, North and South America. There are venues in all 50 states and several African cities have been added this year. Attendees everywhere will “view & vote” on the films, with the Reno votes to be tallied with all others and the international winner being announced the following week in New York City.<br /><br />Admission is $8, general, and $4, student, and tickets will be available at the door or on-line at www.renofilmfestival.com.
